Wanted to Wada-fy the characters a bit, stay true to their outfits but try to give them some more personality physically. It’s always fun translating anime faces into something a bit more realistic. Let me know what you think!
Tank! by The Seatbelts, opening theme. If it weren’t for this song I probably never would have gotten into Cowboy Bebop. It was Yoko Kanno’s music that hooked me; the character and story writing kept me there, but her music was almost like an additional character always there setting the tone throughout.
Vocals by the Fabulous Mae Yamane! One day before I leave this mortal coil I hope to be able to let loose with this song with a band like this. The hard part’s over I’ve memorized the song in Japanese years ago. I’ve been a fan of Bebop from the very beginning. Discovering Yoko Kanno’s music was like heaven opening! I LOVE the fact that she’s so versatile no matter what the genre she can ROCK it!! But yeah I’d like to wail this song full bang on with a band. I would die happily for a decent karaoke version of this, but one was never made. :(
